Where Large Format Fits Use

Large format molding shows up most often in medical carts and diagnostic equipment, office and commercial furniture components, large equipment and infrastructure housings, structural automotive parts, and consumer durable goods that need size and strength molded into a single piece rather than assembled from smaller ones. Fewer seams and joints on a large part generally means fewer places for it to fail. 

Why It's Different From Standard Molding

Tooling, cooling, and cycle time all behave differently at this scale, a large-format mold that isn’t engineered for its size will warp, sink, or run inconsistent wall thickness. Our toolroom designs for the physics of large parts from the start, rather than scaling up a standard mold design and hoping it holds.
